Entrance to GMCH-32 B.Sc. paramedical-2018: Prospectus, Exam, and Results
The prospectus is available online from June 11, 2018, to be filled in and submitted back online, complete in all respects. The date of display of the list of candidates for the GCET-2018 Entrance Test is June 14, 2018. Admit cards will be available w.e.f.June 18, 2018, and exam for admission to paramedical stream-2018 of GMCH-32 be conducted on June 24, 2018, from10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Results will be declared & merit list displayed on June 27, 2018. The last date for submission of the printout of the application is July 09, 2018. And counseling for B.Optom, B.Sc. Nursing, Anesthesia & OT, X-Ray & MLT. will be held on July 23, 2018, followed by 2nd second on July 27, 2018.
Eligibility criteria: GMHC-32 Entrance to B.Sc Paramedical exam.
The aforesaid paramedical courses are open to Indian nationals, who have attained a minimum of 17 years of age as of July 31, 2018. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent exam, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects, scoring in aggregate 45% (general category) and 40% (SC category). Even those whose results of the qualifying exam are awaited may also apply. However, they will be allowed to attend first counseling only after the submission of the detailed marks certificate.
Examination pattern: Admission to B.Sc. Paramedical GMCH-32
The medium of the GCET-2018 GMCH exam for entrance to the GMCH-32 Paramedical stream will be English only. The paper will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry one mark (a maximum of 100 marks). There will be no negative marking as such. For all the aforesaid courses, the duration of the exam will be two hours. The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in the GCET-2018 exam should be no less than 45% (general category) 40% (SC category). The bare minimum qualification for 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Biology, and English. Syllabus for all courses will be 10+2 standard equivalent to AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE/ HSCE, etc. The exam will have 50 Biology questions, Physics 25, and Chemistry 25 questions. However, for 10+2 (Vocational Stream) candidates, diploma in respective discipline, B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology) Anatomy and Physiology will have 30 questions, Biology & Chemistry 35 each, Lab Techniques 35, B.Sc. Medical Technology (X-Ray) Anatomy and Physiology will have 30 questions each. Radiation Physics & Biology will have 35 questions, Radiographic Techniques, 35 and B.Optom. Biology-Ophthalmic will have 30, Optics, 35 and Ophthalmic Techniques 35 questions, et al.
